We are presently based in Lompoc to more adequately serve the northern and southern portions of the central and south coast areas, including Monterey to Los Angles Counties. Our firm is approved by the Counties of Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Ventura, Monterey and Los Angeles Environmental Health Divisions as drilling contractors for hazardous waste and ground water monitoring well installations. Additionally, our firm is approved by most major oil companies for environmental drilling services on their sites. We possess a contractor license in the State of California for water well drilling (Lic. No. C57 611394).
Over the years, we have diversified our drilling services and equipment to support the ever growing environmental industry. We can presently provide drilling services for, but not limited to, environmental site characterization/assessments and hazardous waste studies including monitoring well and vapor extraction well installation, direct push sampling, soil gas surveys, Hydro-Punch II sampling, well development, decommissioning of abandoned wells, etc. under personnel protective equipment levels C and D; as well as geotechnical and geological explorations, lysimeter and piezometer installations. Additionally, we provide underground utility clearance by potholing via air-vacuum excavation techniques.

Due to our close proximity to Vandenberg Air Force Base, we have
provided a wide range of drilling services during the past 42 years for
the United States Air Force and aerospace industry. Additionally, our
company has provided the majority of the environmental drilling
services for the IRP work at Vandenberg Air Force Base over the past
sixteen years. Our Vandenberg IRP clients have included Jacobs
Engineering Group Inc. in 1992; Tetra Tech, Inc. commencing in early
1993 and successfully continuing to the present; IT Corporation/Shaw
Environmental commencing in 1998 and similarly continuing to the
present; and MWH Americas, Inc., commencing in 2003 and similarly
continuing to the present.

Our present drill crews, with up to 20 years experience, have developed
the skill and extensive knowledge to efficiently operate under the wide
variety of subsurface conditions typical of the central and south coast
areas. Our drill crew personnel have attended and met the 40-hour
Initial Training and 8-hour Refresher Course Requirement under Federal
OSHA Standard, 29 CFR 1910.120 Hazardous Waste Operating and Emergency
Response as developed by the E.P.A. for personnel working within sites
containing hazardous substances. Our drill rig foremen and drilling
manager have 8-hour Supervisory Training. All drill crew personnel are
medically monitored on an annual basis in accordance with 29 CFR
1910.120 as well as trained in CPR and First Aid by the American Red
Cross. To satisfy the strict safety requirements of the oil industry, our crews are also Loss Prevention System (LPS) and Smith Defensive Driving trained.
